Forged Fittings

With over a decade of experience, Arrow Group excels in the trading and supply of top-quality forged fittings, earning the trust of countless satisfied customers worldwide. Our extensive range includes forged fittings such as elbows, tees, nipples, plugs, couplings, caps, bushings, unions, crosses, and branch fittings.

Forged fittings play a crucial role in connecting or branching small diameter piping systems. These fittings are typically created through the processes of forging and machining steel. General forged fittings undergo a battery of tests, including chemical composition testing, assessments of appearance and hardness, as well as non-destructive testing (NDT), among others. These fittings can be tailored to meet diverse application requirements, encompassing considerations like material grades and pressure specifications.

Forged fittings, as per standards such as ASME B16.11, MSS-SP-79, MSS-SP-83, MSS-SP-95, and BS3799, are essential components used for joining pipes with nominal bores. They are typically manufactured from materials like SS316 stainless steel and A105 carbon steel, offering durability and reliability. These forged fittings are available in a range of sizes, from 1/8″ to 4 inches.

Forged steel fittings are specifically designed for use with pipes composed of forged carbon steel. These fittings are created through a process of steel forging, where carbon steel is heated to molten temperatures and then shaped using dies. The resulting forged steel fittings are machined to achieve the desired shapes and dimensions.

Forged fittings are known for their high strength, durability, and resistance to adverse weather conditions. They are also excellent at creating a secure and effective seal within piping systems, which reduces the likelihood of leaks. This makes forged fittings a reliable choice for various industrial and piping applications.
